Making Change Possible
Vision 4 You CIC was created to empower individuals and groups who are often disempowered.
Vision 4 You CIC is an extension of the work that The Vision www.thevisioninfo.co.uk (social media @thevisioninfo) does. The Vision was founded in June 2022.
The ethos of The Vision is to empower, disempowered groups through combining many different lenses to make a difference. This includes the lens of social care professionals and lived experienced experts.
The Vision achieves life changing outcomes through delivering therapeutic group & 1:1 programmes, delivering training to professionals working with vulnerable groups, audit work and facilitating reflective practice.
As a group The Vision wanted to spread the positive work to vulnerable groups who may not have access to funding to access The Vision's expertise, which is why Vision 4 You CIC was founded.
The Vision's ethos, experience, learning and expertise is being utilised to inform the work completed through Vision 4 You CIC.

Our lived experienced experts have collectively over 50 years of experience. Expertise in language, special educational needs, life story work, asylum, and refugee processes, leaving care, education, life skills, LGBTQ+, support networks, teenage parenting, risk, exploitation, trauma, mental health, communication, and housing.
Our professional experience relates to care experienced children & young people, child protection, working alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds. This experience ranges from independent advocacy, independent audit, children's homes, fostering, working with the asylum seeking and refugee community, local authority social work, independent social work, management roles & Ofsted social care regulatory inspection. Also, therapeutic experience through therapeutic social work and play therapy.

OUR PROGRAMMES
Making a Difference
Inner Spark
Our Inner Spark programme has been designed by lived experienced experts who have experienced adversity, such as being care experienced and those seeking asylum, therapeutic social workers and therapists.

The programme supports those engaging to develop further tools to add into their emotional tool boxes. The programme makes psychoeducation accessible to empower those engaging with the programme.
​
The Inner Spark programme is delivered by therapeutic social workers and lived experienced experts, which creates various layers of insight and connection.
​
The programme has received some exceptional feedback from those who have engaged including care experienced children & adults, adults supporting children/young people, the asylum seeking & refugee community.
Vision 4 You CIC is in the process of applying for funding to extend the positive impact further to more disempowered groups, including those who are vulnerable to exploitation and foster carers.
Reflective Practice
Vision 4 You are reflective, knowledgeable and experienced in the field of reflective practice.

As part of our therapeutic offer we offer reflective practice sessions to those who need the time and space to reflect and achieve positive outcomes. These sessions can be facilitated on a 1:1 basis as well as within a group.
Vision 4 You have included this offer in recent funding applications to ensure our services are accessible to those who need it.
1:1 Therapeutic Programmes
Vision 4 You recognise that there are many children, young people and adults who would benefit from 1:1 therapeutic work, however there are funding constraints.

Vision 4 You are in the process of trying to secure funding to remove this barrier for these groups to empower them with their therapeutic journey.
Training
Vision 4 You have a range of experts who can support others to grow, learn and thrive through their offer of creative and collaborative training. All training is co-designed and co-delivered by lived experienced experts and social care professionals.

Vision 4 You recognise the need to transfer their knowledge base and expertise to support families who may have experienced generational trauma, connected foster carers, children & young people and professionals who are supporting vulnerable groups.
​
Vision 4 You are in the process of securing funding to spread the offer of training to create empowerment.

Refugee Week 2024
Vision 4 You Celebrate Refugee Week 2024
What an incredible week!
​
Vision 4 You listened to the asylum seeking and refugee community about how they would like to celebrate Refugee Week and we brought it to life!
​
2024's theme was Our Home. We wanted this special community to feel at home in their new town.
​
We collaborated with local organisations to bring:
​
A sound, gong bath by Go Gongs. The use of sound healing is incredible to support people on their journey when they have experienced trauma. Our group felt relaxed and mindful. We even had some snoring during the session!
Hidden Forest Adventures supported our group to enjoy the local outdoors. The group decorated their own plant pots and planted wild flowers in them. Some took their beautiful creation to their new home, some placed them in a local park as part of their identity in a new town. We then finished off with marshmallows and music around the fire!
Our male only group wanted to enjoy some water sports. We collaborated with Vibe and they facilitated an amazing water sports session. As you can imagine water could be quite a triggering thing for some but due to the therapeutic journey the guys have been on they had so much fun, learnt new skills and gained a lot of confidence with water.
We finished our celebrations off with a woodwork session, which was facilitated by a local joiner. The session was designed to enable the guys to make something for their new home. The guys created amazing designs with wood and are in the process of creating a unique key/coat hanger that can go in their homes.
